Why not visit some of Cardiff’s major attractions by using the cities hop on hop off buses or just take a walk, after all it’s a quite compact capital. Attractions include Cardiff castle, an incredibly well preserved and interactive site, or pop along to the market where you will find rows of independent shops and cafes selling local products. Then there is the National Museum which houses some of Europe’s
finest art collections, Bute Park with its lovely walks and cycle trails, the National Stadium, a must for sports fans or simply just take a boat trip down the Taff or just relax in the restaurants, bars, and cafés of Mermaid Quay.

Whilst in Caerphilly you can even walk up its mountain (a hill really) and take in the Welsh countryside, along with the ocean and city of Cardiff in the distance. Another hill (sorry mountain) providing equally great views yes still less than 30 minutes from the city centre is Garth Mountain.
