Hurley Riverside Park
Hurley SL6 5NE 15th – 22nd April 2026 This family-friendly park, sitting alongside the River Thames in the picturesque village of Hurley between Henley-on- Thames and Marlow, is our base for April. With direct access to the River Thames and the Thames Path, the site is perfect for lovers of the river and walkers alike. With the lush green countryside of the Thames Valley all around, red kites circling above and the river traffic gliding past, it is hard to believe the site is only an hour outside London. There are plenty of walks from the site, including to Marlow and Henley, as well as shorter circular walks around the village. The area is rich in history with routes passing by Hurley Church and Monk’s Barn, traditional pubs riverside landmarks. The park shop stocks a selection of food, drink and household goods, plus there is a village shop on the high street with a wide selection of items. Further along the high street is the local hostelry, The Rising Sun. Local buses can be caught right outside the site, with buses to Henley and Marlow or onwards to Maidenhead, Windsor, Reading and Oxford.
