Situated in the heart of the Peak District, the great advantage of Laneside is its location, 200yds away from Hope – the principal village in the Hope Valley. 

It has excellent facilities such as 7 day late shopping, Chinese and Indian restaurant / take-away, Deli / Bakery, Post Office & Newsagent. 

Hope has 4 pubs, one with a small function room and – probably even better for rallies – there is a super village hall equipped with seating, tables and a good kitchen less than 5 minutes’ walk from the site.

There are bus stops at the site entrance for 10 bus routes to places such as Castleton, Hathersage, Eyam, Bakewell, Baslow and Sheffeld.
Hope railway station is a few hundred yards from the campsite with regular services to Sheffield (30 min) and Manchester (50 min)
