Christmas Rally - Tudor Caravan Park
Slimbridge, GL2 7BP
20th - 27th November 2024
With a great location right next to the Sharpness canal and only a 10 minute walk to the world famous Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centre at Slimbridge, this venue for our Christmas rally was a popular choice back in 2018, when we last paid it a visit
The TudorArms pub and restaurant is located right at the entrance to the site, so not far to go to enjoy the festivities and across the road, alongside the canal is the Black Shed cafe, a great venue for a coffee or a cooked breakfast.
The location is ideal for walking or cycling along the canal towpath, which is part of the Severn Way National Walking Trail and National Cycling Trail No. 41. If you want to get further afield a car is recommended, although there is a bus stop outside the pub which takes you into the market town of Dursley and connects with bus’s to Gloucester and the surrounding area.
Also don’t forget to visit the village of Slimbridge, with its pretty church of St John the Evangelist, famous for Jackie Lantelli’s ghost soldiers, with one still on display in the church.
Further details regarding the Christmas meal will be confirmed soon.
