The site, as the name suggests, has an abundance of level grass pitches along with a large barn (venue for the AGM on Saturday 12th) which has a reputation for serving wonderful cakes! There are 2 large fishing lakes stocked with a wide variety of fish and there is a ½ mile dog walk. Within walking distance of the site there are a number of pubs, a Chinese restaurant, garden centre, farm shop and Post Office. There are bus stops just a 10 minute walk away with services to Spalding, Kings Lynn & Wisbech every 20 minutes weekdays and every 30 minutes at weekendsFurther afield there are a number of attractions, including the Seagate Iris collection, (the Wash Marshes (a great place to see overwintering wetland birds), Moulton Windmill, the tallest working windmill in the UK) and Baytree Gardens and Owl Centre. The towns of Spalding, Boston, Wisbech and Kings Lynn are also easily accessible by car or public transport and there are numerous other attractions within an hour of the site.
